Terry Palliser
Terry is a member of the now famous Warwickshire vets who were 3rd placed in the vets race in 2007 despite having a combined age of 4 figures! Other members of the team that now call themselves 'Not So NARPO Numpties' include; John Leach (who will be 70 next year and back for more!) Chris Edmond (50+) Pete Guilluame (nearer 60) Gary Holtby All of whom have completed the event on many more than 10 occasions (Terry has about 25 completions under his belt). Following a career in the army and competing in the 1972 winter olympics as a cross-country skier. Terry was in the Warwickshire team that finished 2nd for 3 years in a row up until 1981 and then spurred on by so many close run things they went on to win the event for the next 7 years! It will be great to see the Warwickshire Vets back in 2009 - and in case you are wondering how the years have treated them I have added one from 1995 to the gallery.
