Pete Williams
Pete was instrumental in the success of the event in its early years. As the head of training (and outdoor pursuits). Although he has not competed in the event he has been ever present through the years and will be recognised by competitors old and new as the time keeper (see photo from 1976 Pete wearing white pullover and breeches).
