Craig Jones
Craig has been involved with the event for many years as both competitor and organiser- indeed for many years he arranged the event almost single handedly. As a competitor he has been very successful- being on the winning team on a number of occasions and twice breaking the course record (2004 and 2006). However his success did not come easy and on one of his earliest outings he was held up by his team mates- a la Beau Geste, at a checkpoint hoping that he wouldnt be withdrawn because of his almost comatose condition.
